Wow Square Enix is doing something awesome with the party dynamics. They are introducing a system where a higher level can party with a lower level player. Square Enix with some feed back from the community of players will let them adjust say a level 75 player to a lower level of the leader of the party. For example, if the leader is say level 25 the other players that are higher level will be reduced to 25. In addition to leveling down the higher level players will be able to equip thier higher tier equipment but they will not be able to have all the bonuses of the armor or weapons. Once the players are the same level they can defeat enemies and gain 100% of the target's experience points. This by far is the best part of the update so far.

Pandemonium Warden and Absolute Virtue are going to be adjusted to be easier due to the heat Square Enix took from a recent Yahoo! games article. The article pointed out that a group of people fought a new boss (Pandemonium Warden) for eighteen hours straight. The group claimed that they began getting sick because of the length of the fight.

My opionion about this is; Square Enix put these monsters in to be defeated in a certain way. For example, the Absolute Virtue video that the development team showed gave a hint in how to weaken the boss using the two hour specials when fighting it. I don't think Square Enix intended the fight to go over two to three hours.

This will be interesting in how they will weaken the bosses in the September patch.

In the Next update dancers and scholars are getting thier tier one merit category. This is great and unexpected, I thought they would get thier merit category way later like the last jobs like blue mage, puppetmaster, and corsair.

Looks like Square Enix is going to spice up Campaign with Stronghold Notorious Monsters. There will be a total of eight Notorious Monsters appearing in in La Vaule [S], Beadeaux [S], and Castle Oztroja [S]. When defeating these NMs the defense capabilities of current beastmen controlled areas will be weakend such as funds, tactics, reconnaissance to name a few. Additionally, if all eight are defeated by a player, they gain key items to access an area to fight a Notorious Monster which have not been identified yet. This is going to be interesting.

Square Enix finally figured out that campaign is broken. I mean geez the allied countries haven't controlled an area since the last update. Hopefully, they will get off their asses and fix this for the better.

The update is slated for early September.

Check out the stats and pictures for the new AF2 here.

HOLY CRAP!!! Square Enix are adding new AF2 to dynamis for blu cor and pup in the next Scheduled update set for September. This is great since those particualar jobs have been out for over a year now. I'm going to level my blue mage since we can get those gears now. The update will also reduce the cost of entering dynamis from 1 million to 500,000. Time to make my own dynamis shell /dance.

The reason I am writing this is to help new mages to stun special moves of High Notorious Monsters(HNM). I hate putting a new mage in the stun order and come to find out that they don't know when the move is triggered or is very late on stunning it. Okay let's go into your config then chat filters. Turn all your filters on except "Special actions started on/by party", "Special actions started on/by allies", and "Special actions started on/by foes". Below is a screen shot of which filters should be off.
